We work in partnership with our clients. Meeting first with the hiring executive and with the senior leadership team when appropriate, we gain a keen understanding of the position responsibilities and priorities and better understand the client culture. As the search progresses, we provide regular updates on progress and prompt attention to client calls and requests. From the first meeting until final selection and through the onboarding our process is designed to achieve and exceed your expectations of successfully recruiting highly qualified executives.



Organizational Assessment
Donna Davidson personally meets key members of the client organization's management team to gain insight into the organization's business, growth opportunities, challenges, organizational structure, and culture. Discussions include clear definition of the vital skills and experience required for the open position.



Position Description and Target List
Davidson Associates drafts or retools a position description, outlining requirements, experience, and other criteria for client approval. In cooperation with the client, we develop a target list of organizations whose cultures and business models may yield strong candidates.



Candidate Identification
In addition to leveraging the firm's extensive contact database to identify candidates who match the criteria, Davidson Associates conducts original research to identify prospective candidates currently within the identified target companies. We will also evaluate potential candidates the client has identified within or outside their organization.



Candidate Interviews and Presentation
We thoroughly screen candidates by telephone and conduct personal interviews with the most promising prospects. In these meetings, we evaluate their accomplishments, leadership skills, and leadership styles as well as their potential cultural fit with the client organization. Written candidate assessments are presented to the client. The client interviews a select panel of highly qualified candidates. Davidson Associates checks references for the leading candidates. (Confidentiality issues stipulate that references be checked only after the client and candidates express mutual interest in the opportunity.)



Final Selection
The client makes the final decision and presents an offer to the top candidate. Donna Davidson will assist in negotiating compensation at the client's request. The client then extends an offer letter. After the candidate joins the organization, Davidson Associates follows up with the client and the candidate to monitor the candidate's assimilation and to confirm that Davidson Associates has met the needs of the client organization.
